There are some places where I just feel like saying, “I’m home.” Brenner’s Park Hotel and Spa in Baden-Baden, Germany is one of those places for me. Living here would probably be the ultimate fantasy. I have fond memories of past visits: When ISPA held their first European Spa Conference in Baden-Baden, when I visited with my twin sister Katrine, and the last few times with my husband, Peter, who fell in love with the property and the town, too. Also, I have relatives who live just 30 minutes outside of Baden-Baden in Karlsruhe. They always visit, and we are able to catch up so I can practice speaking German. The park, the town, the shopping, Friedrichsbad, the Caracalla Therme, and, of course, the historic hotel itself all add up to a magical experience. More details tomorrow…
