Saving the Legendary Greenbrier Resort & Spa in Record Time Susie Ellis SpaFinder Insider
Earlier this year there was the sad news that the famous Greenbrier in West Virginia (a historic piece of U.S. spa history initially called White Sulphur Springs where people have came to “take the waters” since 1778) was heading into bankruptcy. It includes the Greenbrier Spa (40,000 square feet) and the Greenbrier Center for Health Living – a Medical Clinic. Now we have the exciting news that a very passionate and dedicated business man, Jim Justice, rescued the entire thing from the gallows and is giving it a new start!
It appears as if he is infusing new spirit and direction (and likely plenty of cash). He also seems to be considering some forward-thinking ideas such as adding a gaming element to the resort in the future. I am sure that those involved with this prestigious West Virginia property are breathing a sigh of relief. And those of us (including me) who have not yet had the chance to experience this award-winning resort in the Allegheny Mountains, will still have a chance to soak in the famous sulphur waters at the resort where so many former U.S. presidents vacationed.
Here is a press release from the Greenbrier which will bring you up to date on this very good news. And here is an article which gives you more details.
And do check out the bio for Jim Justice at the bottom of this page. I think it is worth noting that one should never underestimate passion, commitment, and calling.
And never rule out the possibility of miracles. ** Follow me on Twitter http://twitter.com/susieellis ** If you wish to be put on a list that automatically sends my blog posts to your email, just let firstname.lastname@example.org know and she will add you to that list. Thanks so much!
