SpaFinder Top Spa Trends 2011 – Here We Go!
Happy end of year to everyone! As you know, this is the time of year SpaFinder announces the top spa trends we predict will make headlines in the New Year. After spending countless hours digging into available literature both inside and outside of our industry, doing research with consumers, travel agents and many spa professionals, getting input from our 100+ staff at SpaFinder as well as many of you, I am happy to share our 2011 list with you today!
In this blog I am giving you a “sneak peek” by simply listing the names of the trends. You can click on each to learn more. For those who want to read a summary of the trend predictions you might want to read through the press release. For those who are trend junkies like me, the more complete report might be of interest. And for those of you who like your trends in “bite size” pieces, I will be posting each trend on my blog one-by-one beginning tomorrow – that will give us a chance to have a little discussion on each of them. You will be able to comment, point out additional examples you feel we should cite going forward – and you can let me know if you think I was totally out to lunch. (Hopefully not too much of the latter.) So here we go!

Hi Suzie!
Hope this finds you well. We spoke about 5 years ago when I wrote an article on Spa Lifestyle Communities for the Urban Land Institute’s (based in Washington DC) magazine named Urban Land, article The New Wave. I am in the process of updating it and wondered if you would be available for an interview?
I’m also wondering whether you or others you may be able to refer me to have a directory of the major master planned communities in North America which are spa/health/wellness oriented and the branded operators associated with these.
Best wishes,
Mick Matheusik
