About Executive Chef Benjamin Baker
Chef Benjamin Baker brings two decades of experience to Travaasa Austin, cooking and creating menus across the country in places like Maui, Hawaii; San Jose, California; and Austin, Texas. Upon accepting the position as executive chef at Travaasa, Chef Baker didn’t just bring his knife set, he also brought along a 167-year-old sourdough starter. Needless to say, his passion for baking breads and pastries is apparent, as is his dedication to seasonal, organic and local ingredients.
