It would have been pretty difficult for us to miss on this prediction since we threw a lot into the soup: Vibration, Sound, Music, Light and Color.  And clearly we are seeing more attention paid to sensory experiences.  So while I think we have earned an “A” I do feel compelled to assign a failing grade to a brand that, I think, will surprise you. Am sharing with you this Weekender that was sent out a while back. It is about the book, Imagine, that seemed a perfect fit with our focus on Innovation through Imagination. Indeed it was. Sadly however, the author, Jonah Lehrer, was discovered to have been guilty of plagiarism and attributing quotations inappropriately. He ended up resigning from his position at the New Yorker and then subsequently was terminated at Wired.com. I had even met him at the Aspen Ideas fest having attended his talk on the subject of creativity. Continue reading
